Updated:Too Much To Play!
I suddenly have a mysterious increase in the amount of games that I have to play. This is really odd, considering that there is barely any new game that has been released. I guess this arises from the fact that I’ve decided to breathe life into a few old games that I’ve played in the past, or have been playing.
Oh by the way, LA Noire has been added to the list of games I’m waiting for. It’s going to be released on the 8th of November. WHERE’S RED DEAD REDEMPTION?
So, here’s the list (Updated):
1. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine
2. Navyfield (Now I lack both credits and points. Feel like quitting)
3. Digimon Online (So far so good)
4. World of Warcraft (Damn tiring to raid)
5. Dead Island (Graphics are messed up, and it feels like some MMORPG with it’s quests, might skip this game)6. Bully: Scholarship Edition (Can’t get it to work)7. Mechwarrior 4(Don’t like it)
8. Dragon Nest?
Like seriously, what the heck? If I don’t complete all these by November, I’m going to have another load of games to play. Oh no.
4. Anyway, I think the problem stems from World of Warcraft. Recently, I’ve joined a guild, and the guild in currently in the process of recruiting new members and having a schedule makeover. So I’m now finally able to raid in Icecrown Citadel. So far, I’ve downed Lord Marrowgar, Lady Deathwhisper, Deathbring Saurfang and Festergut in both 10 man and 25 man versions. Additionally, Rotface and Blood Prince Council has been downed in the 25 man version as well. Yes, I did the 25 man version as my maiden Icecrown Citadel raid. I didn’t get any loot from the 25 man run, since the loot drops were very plate item centric. I did get 2 items from the 10 man run, but I couldn’t use one of them since it’s a one-handed main hand item, and I don’t have an off-hand item to complement it yet.
So, I’ve been spending my nights playing WoW, and as a result, I have no time to clear my other games. Not only that, it’s been taking a toll on my sleep. I went to bed past 12am on Monday and Tuesday.
Well on the brighter side, the guild doesn’t raid on weekends, so I guess I can play other games then.
8. Dragon Nest has a question mark beside it. That’s because I’m considering quitting it. The game is a bore playing alone, and I’m not exactly talented at PvP in that game. I do admit that PvP takes time and practice, I didn’t start playing Rakion as a pro. But the style of PvP here is quite different from Rakion. It’s a lot more fast paced here, and I don’t really like the mechanics of dodging. Blocking in Rakion made more sense. Not only that, the combo system in Dragon Nest is very unforgiving. Make one mistake, and if the enemy is able to use that opening, you can easily be skill comboed to the point where you lose at least half your health.
2. Navyfield oh Navyfield. How I enjoyed playing you when you were in open beta. Everyone was at an equal level then, so majority of players used destroyers, with a few light cruisers here and there. This made the game very enjoyable as battles were all balanced and everyone could get a a few shots in (unless you get torpedoed early). The situation now is that battles nowadays are filled with 80% of ships being heavy cruisers and above (aircraft carriers and battleships). This makes the first 30 levels or so of your gameplay pretty crappy. All you could do is either sail around to leech, or charge in and hope to get a few shots in. You could try to shoot some planes down, but that’s pretty hard to do with your crappy guns.
However, after saying all that, I guess I can could myself lucky, as I joined during a period where all games gave 200% experience. I leveled really quickly, and now I’m level 41 with a light cruiser. I still stay back most of the time, but now I can effectively play an AA role, and that helps a lot since I will deny the enemy the vision of our ships. Besides, shooting down planes is the quickest way to earn money, and I am in desperate need of money, possibly due to the fact that I am leveling too fast. 200% experience but 100% cash. Now I have to earn about 600k in the next 10 levels or so (to give you an idea of how much that is, I earn about 1k each battle, which takes about 5-10 minutes). No choice but to skip the level 42 ship. Gah.
3. Digimon Online. Ah, I loved watching Digimon as a kid. I loved it even more than Pokémon. Even my Neopet is named after a Digimon. Off to try the game!
Hmm, how did this become a post about what I’ve been doing in my games? I originally intended to just come here to post about how I have too much to play. *Ramble ramble*
